We are committed to supporting high-quality hunting dogs and respect the breeding program in promoting these versatile hunting dogs and  their organizations , JGHV and VDD. You are welcome to email us for information on qualified organizations in your area.
When evaluating local organizations, we recommend JGHV and the VDD affiliated groups; we know many chapters within our organizations and kennel operators personally, and we’re happy to provide recommendations. The VDD... The Deutsch-Drahthaar organization, e.V. registered club wa founded in May 1902. With over 10,000 members, itis the largest hunting dog breeders organization. The Verein Deutsch-Drahthaar (VDD) is a member of the Jagdgebrauchshundeverband (Hunting Dog User Association)JGHV) and associated with the Verband fur das deutsche Hundewesen (Association for German Dog Affairs) (VD) and the FCI. The club has 34 regional groups belonging to it in many contries, including USA and Canada. e-mail address for information is: www.drahthaar.de, you can also find info on the VDD website at www.vdd-gna.org , this is for non-members. We belong to the Heartland Chapter .
I also like to train the dogs for others and I am a JGHV judge and also judge for the blood tracking dogs (BTT).
I like to help in any format that I can, as I truly believe this is the dog for versitile hunting and companionship.
